SoulChart uses the Swiss Ephemeris astronomical engine to calculate precise planetary positions for your exact date, time, and place of birth. It computes your full natal chart including all planets in signs and houses, the Ascendant (Rising sign), Midheaven, lunar nodes, and major aspects like conjunctions, trines, squares, and oppositions. The calculations are astronomically accurate to within arc-seconds.

A Life Path Number is the most important number in numerology, calculated by reducing your full date of birth to a single digit (or a Master Number: 11, 22, or 33). For example, if you were born on March 15, 1990, you add 3 + 1 + 5 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 28, then 2 + 8 = 10, then 1 + 0 = 1, giving you Life Path 1. SoulChart calculates this automatically along with your Expression, Soul Urge, and Personality numbers.
